Meet the instructor

Nancy Bacon

Nancy Bacon is a nonprofit educator with 25+ years of experience supporting nonprofit leaders to serve their communities with confidence and impact. Her career spans international education, grassroots nonprofit development in Brazil, and nonprofit capacity-building in Washington State. Nancy founded multiple nonprofit learning programs, including the award-winning Global Classroom at the Seattle World Affairs Council and the nonprofit learning program at the Nonprofit Association of Washington, where she developed statewide board, finance, and legal curriculum. She co-founded the Central Washington Conference for the Greater Good and the Nonprofit Learning Center, and currently co-hosts the Nonprofit Radio Show podcast. Nancy holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College and a Master’s in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Washington.
